Ericland, officially the Republic of Ericland, is a self-proclaimed sovereign micronation, officially founded on 25 September 2026 by President Eric Matei Galușca. The state is guided by the fundamental principle of liberty, which is directly displayed on the national flag.

Geography
The Republic of Ericland spans a total area of 9 square metres (approximately 10.76 square yards). The territory is fully managed indoors and does not have a designated capital city, as the entire area serves as the centre of the state. Ericland is located in Botoșani, Romania.
Politics and Government

Economy
The official national currency of the country is the Chamber lev (Romanian: Leva de cameră). Currently, the use of this currency is strictly theoretical within the internal economic system of the micronation.
Etymology
The name of the microstate was made by combining the President’s name, Gălușcă Eric-Matei, and the word “land”. A different variant of the name, “Ericia”, was invented unofficially in 2022–2024. It was never used as an official name and never had a flag.
History
Although recently established, the Republic of Ericland has a defined foundational history. Before the declaration of independence, in 2022–2024, the name of the state was Ericia. It was an unofficial name, but an important part of Ericland’s history.
On 23 September 2026, the President got the idea after learning about Sealand’s history. After that, Eric Matei Galușca made the flag.
On 24 September 2026, at 17:29, the declaration of independence was printed, and at 21:47, it was signed by the parents. On 25 September, it became a self-proclaimed sovereign state. On 11 October 2026, the state obtained a coat of arms.
Foreign Relations
Ericland is described in its draft as having very good relations with Romania and the Republic of Moldova, because they share a language, making communication easy.
AMAC: Description
AMAC (Romanian: Alianța Micronațiunilor Aliate Comunitare; English: Alliance of Allied Communitary Micronations) is an alliance between Ericland, Rocklandia, Libertoria and Amongusa. The alliance was formed on 16 October 2026. Its main purpose is to make the microstates known to the world.
